Providing a safe, secure environment
We want you to feel safe on our campuses. This is why we train Montco’s campus safety officers in first aid, CPR, automatic external defibrillators (AED) and in identifying and investigating safety and security hazards and violations of our Code of Conduct.
What to do in an emergency
If you think someone’s life or property is in danger, you should:
- DIAL 911;
- Contact the College’s Department of Campus Safety.
Blue Bell Campus: 215-641-6666
Pottstown Campus: 610-718-1913
Due to campus’s size and multiple buildings, the Department of Campus Safety may be the fastest, most efficient emergency response team.
Reporting an emergency from a college phone extension
Blue Bell Campus: 6666
Pottstown Campus: 1913
Our Department of Campus Safety reports any criminal activity, including violations of the laws and ordinances of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Whitpain Township and Pottstown Borough, to local law enforcement. It also reaches out to the surrounding community’s police, fire and ambulance personnel in emergency situations where the threat to life and/or property is likely. Any Code of Conduct violations go to the Vice President of Student of Affairs. Fines and other punishments are determined here.
